At last! I may have been a little excessive here, but I’ve just uploaded over 1,600 DVD screen captures of James from his 2008 action film Wanted. Please note that the film is quite graphic and violent and some caps may not be suitable for work/children. Enjoy!

JAMES McAvoy has thanked two Glasgow teachers for helping him become a star.

The Last King Of Scotland actor pays his tribute in a starstudded promo clip for new movie Waiting For Superman.

The ex-pupil of St Thomas Aquinas school in Jordanhill says of his music teachers: “Great teachers changed my life. Anne-Marie Dempsey, Craig Smith – thank you.”

Waiting For Superman, Truth made by An Inconvenient director Davis Guggenheim, explores the failures of the US education system.

Other celebs thanking their teachers in the promo include Minnie Driver, Jon Hamm and Juliette Lewis.

At last! I’m so sorry these took so long for me to post, but James is in pretty much every scene which made sorting out the captures a VERY long task. But, now there are over 1,000 screen captures up in the gallery – please note that there are some scenes of sex/nudity and a few gruesome shots towards the end.

James McAvoy is currently in the “exploding” process. He’s been working for a while fairly under the radar, but since his work in Atonement we’ve barely been able to keep him out of the news. With three films already on the books, McAvoy has now added a fourth.

In the latest subscription issue of Production Weekly it was announced that James McAvoy and Mila Kunis will star in an upcoming film called Taravella. We know you love both actors, but don’t get too excited. Taravella is described as “a romantic comedy with a supernatural twist” which already makes it sound too much like the Sarah Michelle Gellar piece Simply Irresistable for me to take it seriously. Quite a leap from Atonement, X-Men: First Class, or his upcoming Lincoln film The Conspirator.

Kunis is set to play the titular role while McAvoy plays Linus, the man whose life she literally falls into out of the sky. Don’t get me wrong, I have certainly seen some good rom-coms with a supernatural twist (Love Potion #9 anyone?) but it’s already a genre to be skeptical about without the supernatural part , so I always remain wary. More on Taravella as details find their way onto the tubes.
